The artist has a desired need: to immerse oneself, to work, and then, present their endeavors.
My own artistic journey was inspired by early visits to the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
I was awestruck by the masters use of light, shape and color to draw you into their painted world.
My journey has been motivated by traveling, learning, and the world beyond. My works of art are the meaningful connection that has transpired from those experiences.
The lands of France, Ireland, and a younger life spent in England have definitely contributed to my paintings whether an actual place or merged for artistic point. I work exclusively with oils. Their rich texture and color complexities bring to life a beautiful result.
My compositions are rooted in landscapes, enhanced with abstract impressionistic touches.
Painting is close to my heart and a method to convey the mystic beauty I see.
